Here's Looking at "ZOO" Kid

That's right! On our Martin Luther King day off, we ventured the wild outdoors to go to the zoo. Grambie and Grand-pop had given Katherine a season pass to the zoo this year and we were fairly eager to see how Katherine would take to the whole experience. Turns out, she loves it! There is no telling what she thinks these creatures are, but she certainly found them to be intriguing. Here are a few pictures from our visit:

So, this is actually not from the zoo... but it's super cute! Our little ballerina eater!

and we're off!

Kat... and cat

Thanks again Grambie!

Isn't it ironic? eating animal crackers...

Mommy's favorite

Katherine was a bit confused by the elephant though

Even elephants can yawn

Katherine did come around to the elephants though.. whew

Looking at some monkeys. Monkeys not shown.

A beautiful peacock

Katherine certainly thought so

Lunch break!

It's hard to see, but that white thing in the top right corner is a penguin.

As you might imagine, the fish were especially confusing

Just how do they float like that...?

Are they not the most beautiful girls ever?

of course the usual play toys were around...

Including leaves!

Daddy just loves otters. I mean aren't they cute?

By the end of the day though, she was just pooped!

GG thinks you will be a loyal patron of the zoo & pretty soon---well out in the future our Katherine will know all the animals. Monny want you to love the elephants --wondering if there were any bbaby elephants--Katherine--did you get a look at those polar bears??--looks like you had a fun time & the last photo proves you had a wonderful but exhausting day :):)

Love to infinity
