We are soliciting help for finding a name for our cat. The shelter has been calling her "Delilah," but we haven't decided for sure if that is the perfect name. Here are the names we are considering so far:
Felicity (one of our favorite TV series and also a classy name).
Anastasia... Annie for short, because of Anastasia the princess who became an orphan. Our cat was found as a stray but we think she must have had a family when she was a kitten because she is extremely friendly and comfortable with people.
Apricot: in honor of Ted's childhood cat, Peaches. Plus, our cat's fur is a creamy apricot color.
Let us know your favorites, least favorites, and any new ideas you have!!

I looked up meanings
# one means "Happy"
# two means Resurrectio# 3 means--a fruit
lol---take your pick--I did the hard work:):):)
All 3 are nice--me I shorten 99% of names:)
Awww...what a cute kitty! I can't wait to meet her. I'm not sure about Delilah, Felicity or Apricot...they're both rather long. Of course, cats don't usually respond to their names anyway, so maybe it doesn't matter. How about Sunshine? Her fur reminds me of sunlight filtering in through leaves on a tree. Plus, then you could sing the "You are my Sunshine" song to her. :-) Anyway, I'm sure she'll grow into whatever name you choose. Love to Infinity!
Mary :-)
She is a real cutie! and very sweet! like our little Kat!

I didn't know Anastasia means resurrection but I did know Felicity meant happy or joy. Annie would be easier for Katherine to say. We had a dog named Annie. She was abandoned here and Cookie thought Annie would be appropriate as in "Little Orphan..." She was a wonderful dog.

aunt kathy
I think she is precious. So, maybe "Precious" Also I like Mary's idea of "Sunshine" I do think it should be 2 syllables so Katherine could have an easier time saying it. Whatever you pick will be just right!
